Lately Spoken Poem

In Lately Spoken Poem, feelings are addressed that are the result of changes we‘re facing in our lives lately.
Sometimes, we’re happy with things the way they are; then suddenly they change and we feel sad and unhappy, even threatened.
Things can change from one single moment to another, and they might never be the same again. This can happen so fast and we might not be prepared for this in any way because we don’t get a warning or anything.
Little do we realize that often we have no control whatsoever over anything – we might think we do, but actually we don’t.
And all we can do is adapt … we have to adapt or we’re going to be left behind!
So although I’m addressing ‚my child‘ here in my poem, it is meant to give hope and strength to all the people who feel anxiety and fear in this difficult time we’re all going through.
